# PMPrinterGetName(_:)

Returns the human-readable name of a printer.

## Declaration

func PMPrinterGetName(_ printer: PMPrinter) -> Unmanaged<CFString>?
```

## Parameters

- `printer`: The printer whose name you want to obtain.

## Return Value

Return Value The name of the specified printer. This name identifies the printer in the user interface. You should not release the string without first retaining it.
