# PMPrinterGetPaperList(_:_:)

Obtains the list of papers available for a printer.

## Declaration

```swift
func PMPrinterGetPaperList(_ printer: PMPrinter, _ paperList: UnsafeMutablePointer<Unmanaged<CFArray>?>) -> OSStatus
```

## Parameters

- `printer`: The printer whose paper list you want to obtain.
- `paperList`: A pointer to your doc://com.apple.corefoundation/documentation/CoreFoundation/CFArray variable. On return, the variable refers to a Core Foundation array containing the paper list for the specified printer. Each element in the array is an object of type doc://com.apple.documentation/documentation/applicationservices/pmpaper. You should not release the array without first retaining it.

## Return Value

Return Value A result code. See Result Codes.

## Discussion

Discussion This function obtains a list of the papers that a given printer claims to support. The paper list does not include any custom paper sizes that may be available.
