Embedded Browser Engine Entitlement
An entitlement that enables an app to embed an alternative browser engine.
Discussion
Add this entitlement to your app’s code signature if your app isn’t a web browser, but it embeds an alternative browser engine for in-app browsing.
To use the entitlement, request it from Apple. The steps to request the entitlement vary by geographic region:
- European Union
To request the entitlement in the EU, see Using alternative browser engines in the European Union.
- Japan
To request the entitlement in Japan, see Using alternative browser engines in Japan.
You also need to include the Embedded Browser Engine Association Entitlement entitlement to specify whether you own the embedded alternative browser engine.
