# CFStringAppendCharacters(_:_:_:)

Appends a buffer of Unicode characters to the character contents of a CFMutableString object.

## Declaration

```swift
func CFStringAppendCharacters(_ theString: CFMutableString!, _ chars: UnsafePointer<UniChar>!, _ numChars: CFIndex)
```

## Parameters

- `theString`: The string to which the characters in chars are appended.
- `chars`: A pointer to a buffer of Unicode characters.
- `numChars`: The number of Unicode characters in chars.
