Configuring the project workspace

Open a project and arrange the workspace’s tabs and panes to fit your task.

Overview

Reality Composer Pro’s project workspace is the main interface for viewing, editing, creating, and arranging 3D RealityKit content for your Xcode project. From the welcome window, select a recently opened project, choose Create New Project, or choose Open Existing Project.

Open a new workspace

You can open multiple workspaces, each with multiple tabs. For example, open one workspace for your scene and another for a specific object in your scene.

To open a new workspace, in the Project Browser, double-click an entity (or any asset such as a material or animation graph) to open the asset in a new workspace. The selected entity (and any components) opens in a new workspace. Workspaces appear as window tabs below the app toolbar.
