Discussion This is inherently unsafe; UnsafeMutablePointer assumes the referenced memory has +1 strong ownership semantics, whereas AutoreleasingUnsafeMutablePointer implies +0 semantics. warning: Accessing pointee as a type that is unrelated to the underlying memory’s bound type is undefined.
